Sonshine Children's Center, Linefork, KY

It was a huge blessing to our team to make the 10-hour drive to Linefork, KY, to lend a hand at Sonlight Children's Center from September 7-11th. This was a family missions trip with 12 members ages 5yrs through 65+. Our team was able to help with major grounds keeping, window washing, and putting up produce for the family.
Pastor Mary Bennett has been serving children and her area for many, many years on the very property where she grew up. After enlisting in the Air Force, working for AT&T and attending Life Bible College (Now Life Pacific College in San Dimas, CA), the Lord called her back to her hometown to minister to children who were in difficult circumstances.
Through her love and God's provision, over 100 children have been cared for and moved on to become wonderful adults. At this time, she has up to ten children she cares for on a day-to-day basis as Mom and also pastors the Linefork Foursquare Church.
